Annual Apron Project
America?
Since 2020 creating an annual apron has been a guideline of the Apron Artist Project. This year I'm creating a community apron with your help. Here are a few ways to participate:
1. Create a swatch for the apron and send it to me. I've posts serval reels on Instagram (@apronartistproject) of "how to" create a swatch. Please email me at apronartistproject@gmail.com for mailing instructions.
2. Join me at an upcoming in-person event; locations and dates announcements coming soon.
3. Lead a group art project. If you have a group of five or more people you'd like to share this experience with I'll send you a supple kit including fabric, assorted markers and other goodies. Please email me at apronartistproject@gmail.com to confirm details.
Thank you in advance for your energy, creativity and connection to each other, this place, our stories in this moment.

Community Quilting
Quilt making is the long standing tradition of incorporating meaningful pieces of fabric into a comforting blanket, for use or display. Community is a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common. By combining the quilt making process and individual community members we create an object that expresses the thoughts and feelings of the community at a particular moment in time. Community Quilt's often have a theme or attempt to answer a question relating to the community which they are being created.
